Surgical/Outpatient Services 
Field Memorial
Community Hospital offers specialized, fully equipped surgery rooms for
general, elective, and emergency surgery on an inpatient and outpatient
basis. Just as important as the facilities is our trained and caring
surgical staff, providing you advanced technology with personal attention.
Our highly experienced surgeon is supported by a team of anesthetists, nurses, and technicians utilizing some of the latest surgical techniques, including laparoscopic surgery.
These types of procedures, such as laparoscopic cholycystectomy (gallbladder removal) greatly reduce pain, length of hospitalization, and recovery time. Additional surgical procedures routinely performed here vary from mesh hernioplasty to breast surgery.
Our outpatient services also include endoscopy for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Digital video technology used with the endoscope is highly effective in diagnosing, and even treating, certain conditions found in the esophagus, stomach, and large and small intestines, as well as certain lung disorders.
Other diagnostic services, such as lab, digital imaging, and radiology, are utilized in an outpatient setting, along with respiratory therapy and rehabilitative care, such as physical, speech, and occupational therapy. |
