| About Dr. Field: | A Diplomate of the American Board of Surgery, Dr. Field has continued a family medical tradition by practicing here since 1985. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans in 1974, followed by a surgical residency with Tulane from 1979 to 1984 where he received the Resident Teaching Award. He also completed fellowships in traumatic orthopedics at Tulane in 1985.
Dr. Field has served as a clinical instructor of surgery at Tulane University School of Medicine and Louisiana State University School of Medicine. His professional memberships include the American College of Surgeons, Southeastern Surgical Congress, Tulane Surgical Society and the Wilk-Amite Medical Society. |
